I don't believe I know anyone in my area who plays D&D. My college roommate did, though. It looks fun.

Re: Comic of June 3, 2009

I was at a LAN party the other week and one of the guys had a leaked copy of this game. It's out now, though. I'm sure Greg was law-abiding in his Sims 3 playing. :)

David Wong over at Cracked just co-wrote an article titled 5 Things the Gaming Industry Will Never Fix (and Why) . It's a pretty good read, and the #1 item: Shovelware, aka the loads of crap that come out on a system is pertinent to this thread's discussion. Greg, thanks for making that sarcastic co...

Sounds like Microsoft's got the right idea, at least to expand their gaming potential. I look forward to seeing them discovering the potential of the device.

Re: Taking back the Republican party

This topic has been a pretty fascinating read. I too am sick of people in office doing what they have to to get in office, then acting all "haha, Democrats are in control, we rule" or "Republicans are for controlling Congress" instead of stepping back, taking a deep breath, and looking at what might...

Re: How did you get started on Real Life?

I dunno, I think I just stumbled across a video-game-themed comic a while back, chuckled, followed a link to the site, and stuck with it. Real Life was the first web comic I really got into (second one I avidly followed was the now-defunct Concerned: The Half-Life and Death of Gordon Frohman ), and ...

This comic transmutes my pain at the horrifically diluted quality of Nintendo's current game library into a laugh and that's not easy. Kudos. When's the new Zelda coming out again? Oh, that's right, they announced it immediately after they debuted Twilight Princess, a GameCube game they'd given Wii ...

Re: 05.07.2009 - Extreme Makeover: Spaceship Edition

I have to concur with Deacon. What's better is that due to poor advertising in my area, the theater was nearly empty so I was one of maybe a dozen people--none of them shrieking kids or loudmouths--at the movie. Amazing. A. MAZE. ING.

May 4, 2009 - Make it so

This comic speaks to my inner geek, and feeds it Trek. :)

About Greg's uniform... I really hope you actually have it, because it looks awesome and I can't stop wondering if you can open the front up like they do in the movies.

Re: Apr. 30th, 2009 - Beam me up Tchotchke

Speaking for myself, I'm looking forward to the movie, I just entertain some worries about some of the new actors in their roles. I'm not too worried about Sulu or McCoy, and I'm reasonably assured about Spock, but I'm concerned about Kirk. No one can ever replace the Shatner. I just want him to be ...

After that, he could use the power of water, wood and brass to create some sort of turning apparatus that dips into a local water supply and powers textile mills.

That would be industrially revolutionary!
