Hal continues to move for the axe in the distance. Better to make a move then get jumped without a weapon.

Peter, as he started to tire, sprinted after the noise.

James catches up to Saur, and decides to investigate the returns area.

ooc: sorry guys, wife came for the weekend so I didn't spend any time on my computer.
IC:
Hal reaches the axe, apparently unnoticed by whatever is making that slurping noise. He can see a few more dead bodies, but thier faces are too torn up and bloody to get an ID of them at first glance. He can hear footsteps comming in his direction.

Proceeding to the counter, Saur can see that there is a door to the left that is slightly ajar. behind the counter there is a line of carts and one cart is tipped over on its side.

Peter continues to chase and then the sound of footsteps stop. Peter is in a wide open aisle facing the back of the store.

"James...what did Shane say to you? Was it anything helpful? For some reason I don't think Sandy got away from whatever killed Shane unscathed."
Saur waiting for a reply watches the door for a sign of movement as he moves closer to the tipped cart to inspect it.

Sandy's one of them. But if things are to be believed, these things are changing. The ones last night were different. We need to get to Shane's house.
James scans over the scene.

OOC: Which way does the door open? In or out? Are the carts the metal kind that you can probably see anything behind, or are they plastic and if they're hooked together you can't see through them?

"Let's get the others."
Saur takes the roundabout route back to the others stopping in outdoors to get some firestarters, sporting goods to get 2 packs of metal BBs and hardware to get some razor blades.

ooc: sorry about the delay with what was behind the counter, but I wont do that update since you left the area. but the door opened in, if I remember right, and the carts were metal. Inside the one that was tipped are some sportsballs, and a set of football shoulderpads, but they probably wouldnt fit anyone who is still alive.

IC:
Back in sporting goods Hal is zoned out, standing there with an axe in his hands and the following scene plays out in front of him..

The hunched over guy stands up and turns towards him. Immediately Hal recognizes Bob, although this version of Bob is covered in blood, has a wicked smile on his face that is complimented by crazy eyes. Bob takes a step towards Hal when he becomes distracted by a loud screech behind him. Hal can see Sandy running at full speed towards Hal with her Mac-10 in one hand. Although for some reason she seems to have forgotten how to use it, or at least thats how it seems. She bull rushes Bob, tackling him and opening fire as she lands on top of him on the ground.


Peter hears a fast pounding of feet in front of him followed by rapid gunfire.

On thier way to sporting goods, Saur and James can hear the commotion and see Peter in front of them stopped in the middle of the aisle.

Peter readies his pens whilst looking for a better weapon.

Reaching down, Hal tries to pull Sandy off of hopefully Bob's completely dead corpse.

"Sandy, come on... come on. He is dead."

Saur concentrates on his looting.
"I need to get some items. I am going to loop around back."
Saur attempts to get the items stated previously and come in from the back of the sporting goods section with guns ready.

ooc: well, sorry guys. As far as I am concerned the forums are still dead. yeah it was just a prank, but that doesnt change anything. I already told a few of you how this ended. If the rest of you want to know how it all ends just ask. or maybe I will post it here if i decide to come back.. But yeah, the forum is dead to me. and with people knowing the ending there is no surprise to it anymore.
