For those who have not noticed the new links at the top, the weblog code is now open to everyone who is in the Registered Users group (which is pretty much everyone). There are a lot of features for it, and I think those who have a look will agree that it's a significant improvements over the old Journals forum. Some specific points:

• Comments can be made on each post -- or not. It's the owner's choice.
• Friend and foe lists can be made to apply. If you have someone marked as a foe, they will not be able to see your weblog if you don't want them to. Or you can allow them to read but not reply. Or they can have the same permissions as everyone else.
• Guests and bots cannot see the weblogs, so they should be relatively private. Remember that all someone has to do to see them by default, though, is to sign up. You can make it so that general users cannot see your entries, though that is not default.
• Regular BBCode works there, too, just as in any other post around here.

So go off and enjoy, and let me know if you find anything not working as you expect.

Heya, one note - it'd probably be a good idea to add a link to the general blog page - blog.php at the top of the forum pages, next to the other internal links.

If you mean the very top, that's taken from the RLC page, so it probably won't be messed with unless and until Greg alters the comic site. There is a link toward the top of the page in the blue navigational banner.
