Pottermore

For those who don't know what that is: Pottermore is an official Harry Potter site, directed by J.K. Rowling herself, that has lots of extra information about the books and some mini-games/interactive stuff to do. Months ago there was a big ad campain on "Rowling's big announcement", a countdown on youtube and then the presentation of the site. It hasn't opened yet (it'll start running on October) but for a whole week there was a quiz and the first one hundred thousand who answered correctly got a pass to try the beta version in September.

They took quite a bit in accepting everyone in the site, they would let them get in in small groups each week. I finally had my letter last Monday... read, a week before the site opens to public. There has been some complaining about that - there's also lots of lagging because of the big amount of people on the site at the same time.

But if you ignore those problems... the site is actually quite fun! There could be a bit more of interaction, but the main purpose is a reading experience, so it's not that bad. You get sorted in a house with a test made by Rowling (though they're only seven questions, I heard it's not very reliable - I got Ravenclaw so I don't care); and what you do around the site can make you earn or lose points for it. The mini-games so far include Wizard duel and Potion brewing, and I'm failing with honors at both. XD

Is anyone else in the site now? Opinions, critics, anything? (Wanna exchange usernames?) And for the Potter fans who aren't, are you going to get an account in October? Or you have zero interest in it?

I figured it was a Paramore spoof band with a Harry Potter theme.
