And attempt #3. It needs a lot of refinement before it could be published, but would this style be better than what I was doing before?

I agree that the 2D is better, but I also kind of liked the 3D mixed perspective.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I liked it too, but I just couldn't get it to work. I'll try to work on it in my own time and transition into it later, but my boss thinks we should just go with the current 2D style so we can actually get started.

Yeah, I'll probably put one up here. Just bear in mind that if you're not interested in hearing about therapy emphasizing meaningful pursuits and personal responsibility done by an existential psychologist it might seem a tad cheesy

And here's the final version of the therapist. If anyone has any advice on how to make it better, I'm open to further suggestion. This is what we're using for now so we can just get started but I can make minor improvements and changes along the way.

The first client. Just in case anyone's wondering, I am drawing pretty much everything with "Schlock Mercenary" in a window next to my drawing program :P

he was originally, but we decided to go with a more "Abraham Maslow/Dr Phil/Fatherly" look. The ideas are his, as is most of the wording, just not the appearance anymore.

Well, here's the first strip from "Meaning Therapy". I had to squish it to get it to fit in the forums, so if it looks funny that's totally the only reason ;)

The strip's actual url is http://www.meaningtherapy.thewebcomic.com

I don't really like the wording of the second panel. I'ma have to keep a tighter grip on the writing in the future so that it flows a bit more naturally

I'm guessing this would be the psych equivalent to a typical tech support call?

Pretty much. A lot of therapy deals with fairly minor issues. Dr Wong, especially, deals with a lot of these sorts of "vague confusion about my life/where am I going/what's the purpose of all this" cases because he's an existential and meaning-centered psychologist.
