More recently, I decided to try to crochet again. I'd always failed at it before, but there's some cool stuff out there. To my surprise, I can totally crochet and it not hurt. I also finally figured out amigurumi and they work up so quick (man, why does anyone knit?! It's so slow compared to crochet) that I'm addicted. Here's some stuff I've done:

Slime! This was my first one and I had to make him. Simple design and pretty much the only reason I play DragonQuest anymore. SLIME.

I had no yellow yarn, so I'll have to make a new one. But, I mean, Lumas don't have to be yellow, yellow is just best. This guy is my desk mascot right now, I love him so.

It's an octopus we've (husband and I) named octopod. My stepson, while he's visiting with us (he's 3) has laid claimed to it. I'll probably have to make another since octopod is everyone's favorite right now.
I'm currently working on a chocobo, but the wings are giving me a bit of a fit, so I'm planning on making a Moogle to fill my time when too frustrated with the chocobo (FF14 has me back in my FF obsession).
