Considering that it's going to take me another two years to get bad string selection for Smoke on the Water out of my head, not to mention that Elizabeth doesn't need to go to jail for mass murder, I thought it for the best.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I'm sure Liz will love you for that.

BTW, as it stands, your remaining share is $2,360 unless more people sign up. :)

Oh now I don't think I want to go...
A friend left over Guitar Heros at my old place for about a week. I heard it way too much. Over and over and over... The guitar almost went upside a couple people's heads.

I'd love to make it this time, I don't know if the funds will be there, because I have a wedding to go to, and possibly a trip to Seattle both in March, but I'll start saving now.

Does DDR need to be brought to drown out the Guitar Hero crowd?

Bah, amateurs. Somebody bring Singstar for the PS2 and then stop the time until he/she is killed because of it.

The internet was invented by the american military back in the late 60s. It was designed to be a durable, scaleable, decentralized information delivery system, so that in the event of a nuclear attack, american military leaders would still have access to pornography.

If I decide to go to this (I'm near Roanoke, VA), I'll bring it with two dance pads.

That will take aproximately 5 minutes. As that's how long it would take to suffocate someone.

BTW: Looks like for now we will only be making it to the first segment. I won't know more until the beginning of next semester and thus know the final schedule.

nah, the brain can go 5 minutes without air before damage starts to occur. 10 seconds would just cause them to go unconcious. 5 minutes is when they are a vegetable at best and a slab of meat at worse.

adciv, it's not about blocking air, but blocking oxygen to the brain by cutting off the bloodflow along the neck (i.e. carotid artery and jugular vein). 10 seconds without breathing won't cause you to pass out. 10 seconds without bloodflow to the brain will render you unconscious easily. I'm not sure how long it would have to be held to cause significant brain damage and then death.

Deacon is right.

Oxygenated blood is still going to the brain when your airflow is blocked, and I'm sure that the "5-minute rule" takes that into account. The timeline for damage and death is doubtless much shorter when the bloodflow is cut off.

IIRC, going even thirty seconds without bloodflow to brain tissue can cause damage to that tissue. (Not totally sure about that.)

Who volunteered to bring guitar hero? We can make an experiment out of it.
