Damn it's been hard to save up lately.

But I just did a 60+ hour work week last week, so my next paycheque will be big enough to spare the other half of my deposit... that paycheque come in a week and a half from now.

Those extra hours do add up.

I'm wondering if anyone else is going to step in to help you guys with the costs.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

It's in Wilmington NC (about a couple hours south of where you guys will be). Specifically, Carolina Beach.

Thanks to the wonderful new Wally World policy, there is absolutely no overtime allowed at all. This means about $150 less for me every payday. I'll see how things turn out, but for now I just don't have as much extra cash as I thought I would.

Sounds like it's time for a weekend job. I'm (hopefully) about to pick up reffing little league soccer matches again. Easy money!

So, while I doubt my wife will be going, my odds pretty much shot up to like 85% chance of me going. :)

Also, I can promise you that if I'm there, Guitar Hero won't be stuck to just the first five songs. :P I can bring along a copy of my saves. I've beaten the first game on all difficulties, and have currently beaten GH2 completely on easy and medium and am halfway through hard. :)

Oh they didn't have it on just the first 5 songs... it was just that they didn't play anything but the first five songs.

Only you.

Everyone else was stuck on perfecting Smoke on the Water.

Such an easy song to get so much attention. I think after one or two plays, I was done with it. Way too long and boring. :D

Well you have to imagine a house filled with 8-10 guys who all wanted to play it atleast 2-3 times. That's potentially 30 times of hearing it!

While I'm not going, I *WISH* I was going just so I could see how many people play Freebird all the time, and all the heckling that's going to be going on WHILE people are playing Freebird.

This discussion is making me think I will be spending a lot of time outside with the kites and dunes.
