Out of curiosity, shouldn't the mask be the other way around? i.e the parts that are transparent now should swapped with the parts that are opaque?

I went with an inverse mask because of how I originally had coded it with GD. I merged the image and mask and cut the mask away by removing the mask color (which at the time was #ff00ff). I prefer to work with inverse masks anyway (so I can leave the mask on and see my results at the same time).

I give up....

I've tried and tried to get photoshop downloaded and working and for whatever reason it refuses to....

I'm going to have to bite the bullet here and ask for some help....

Could someone possibly sort my avatar out for me? Preferably the one I am using at the moment but if the animated one is causing problems please let me know as I have another instead.

Many thanks to whoever can sort this for me, I hate asking for help with something I know I can do...

Converting your animated avatar would be tricky, 'cause of the colour of the cat. Normally you could just remove all the white around it, but since the cat is half white you'd have to do it by hand for every frame.

And sadly, I don't think anyone where is quite that bored/generous. Not even Baghead.

Thanks for the heads up, I don't want anyone wasting stupid amounts of time on this.....

Two options then:

Animated with a transparent background:

Or a still image that will need re-jigging:

Thanks again to whoever takes this on...... I would send cookies through the post but they may go bad.....

You know, you could just pop the grey background behind so its sitting on the "ledge" between two colours?

I took a quick look at mine and went and made my current one quickly until I find my photoshop install CD and make a proper one :>

The fact that I didn't even consider just cropping the cat both scares and saddens me...
