Sunny, warm and 82 degrees. The NWS guys out at Pleasant Hill blew this one.

I saw "NWS" and immediately thought "New South Wales" before I realized I had it backwards. It's only now that I realized you were probably referring to the National Weather Service.

NWS automatically reads as Not Work Safe in my head. Anyway, it was a balmy 34C here in Brisbane with 65% humidity today. Felt like I was swimming in my clothes.

It's March 12th, and it's 62°F right now. In two day's time, the forecasted high will be 81°F. My allergies are going haywire and I am miffing that I did not consider taking some shorts with me. Meanwhile, there is snow falling in the west coast's lower elevations areas, which is a little uncommon for this time of year.

Low of 72 tonight, high of 104 tomorrow. Ugh.

Currently 57° with a forecasted high of 67. Portland might actually see 80 this week. Less likely on the coast, however. Ah the perils of living semi-permanently behind the jet stream.

Perils? That sounds awesome!
It's somewhere around 70 here today, with clouds and occasional showers. After last week's heat, I'm pretty good with this weather. I'd take it all summer, frankly.

I'll admit I could get used to a summer where the only time I break a sweat is when I want to. However it is a little odd to get used to coming from the sweltering Midwest with a pedigree of really hot, humid climates. Of course, because we're living on a mountain ridge, I don't have to travel too far to still experience snow.
I do admit missing the severe weather, trading it for tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes and the occasional wind gust. Frankly it feels too much like Scotland, or so I hear.

We broke a record here in Austin yesterday. Hottest June day in recorded history.
109.
Yeah, this summer's going to be fun...

Walked out of work at 1 am, it got down to 44 degrees. Up to 55 now. They pushed 80 back to Monday. Off and on rain. It really feels like Scottish weather.

Please send the rain and some of the cooler air to Indiana. We are sitting at about .29" of rain for all of June here. We are expecting 104F tomorrow.

Just saw where I used to live temp right now is 105, meaning high temp for the day was 110. Holy balls that's hot. 68 and rainy...I really shouldn't feel guilty.
