(Oh, ok. I thought you wanted to do an update. Sorry about that)

Adam steps swiftly to the side and watches as Groo rushes past. "Heh, I see. Team up some actual finesse and skill with the mindless brute. Well, come on Hooch. The Boss has got a job for you." Adam smirks derisively at Groo and walks out the door, heading towards the new "job site."

Understanding what he is supposed to do, Groo grudgingly follows Adam, his eyes on him the entire time, watching for one dangerous move.

(Since we all - for the most part - want to continue, so it shall! )

Jharlen: The walk to the mob site is a tad difficult, to say the least. Person after person is crammed on the small street, and cars are stopped dead in there tracks, unable to move due to the flesh wall that is infront of them. What you catch off the top thoughts of most people are questions of "Who did this?" and "Why?", as well as demeaning thoughts about both Humans and Seconds. As you continue walking, you catch something strage. Two people were walking, but from their thoughts, they seemed like almost 4, two minds in each body. It wasn't so much the multiple minds that shocks you, as much as what they're saying. Get away from the police NOW.

Freon and Kian: The crowd is thick, and it's difficult to travel any where fast. Making it to Kian's apartment only SOUNDED easy. It's going to take a bit longer than expected to move out of this now congealed human mess.

Groo and Adam: The car ride to the "hide out" was rather uneventfull. Occationally people would glance into the car to look at Groo, though they quickly turned back to avoid being killed from such a fearsome-looking Second. Once at the warehouse, you both see several people enter and exit a small, rusted door. Some look human, others look most definatly Second. There are several windows on each side of the building, and most likely another door or two on those sides not visible to you right now. As it stands, no one has noticed you, giving you a great oppertunity of surprise and stealth.

Kian glances around.

"Mmm, I don't like crowds."

He feels cold for some reason. Its not unlike the feeling he had in his arm though, and it's not exactly uncomfortable, just odd. He ignores it.

Jharlan 'feels out' for the nearest policeman and attempts to gain whatever information that he can before continuing on. In the meantime, he does his best to keep a low profile.

Jharlan: The closest cop to you has more in mind about keeping the crowd at bay than anything else. What do you get, however, are small bits of info about the scene. The most important of these would be that the police believe it to be a single Second who commited the crime.

Jharlan plants the suspicion that the criminal was NOT a second into the policeman's subconcious, such that seeing the news story released on TV will have a greater impact. He also attempts to find an appliance store and 'convince' the shopkeeper to turn the TVs inthe window to the news.

OOC: Do what I can. =P

Jharlen: You try to alter the man's view, but he seems quite stuck on it, as it seems that there is a decent amount of circumstancial evidence that led the police to that conclusion. You're on your way to the appliance store, when you bump up against someone, and again, you have thier thoughts graze through your mind. Get away from the police As fast as possible in this mess...

Kian: You and Freon are still stuck in the human blob, and you feel someone bump into you trying to get into the appliance store near by. When you turn to see him, he looks very much like a politian, and a very determined one at that.

[ooc: Being he's a politician, is there any chance either of us recognize him? I wouldn't be surprised if Freon did...]

Kian watches the man closely for a moment. Oddly, the scene doesn't seem to be holding his attention like everybody else, but the appliance store instead. Unusual, to be certain. Kian makes a mental note, and resumes shoving through the crowd, glancing back on occasion.

Scans the thoughts of the man he just bumped into.

Jharlan: You probe the surface thoughts, and along with the old message of "Get away from the Police," you find another thought rising. Hey, isn't that the Second's Right Advocate. He seems more interested in the appliance shop, rather than the crowd...

(OOC: DemitriFlameGG, yea, you need to wait for Jim. If he doesn't ppost before tonight, I'll send him a PM or try to IM him or something.)

EDIT: W00t! 1000 posts, baby! I'm moving up in the world! *grin* Now back to your regularally scheduled game.

(I am really sorry to do this, but I am going to have to quit. I thought I could balance staying on this RP and doing all the other stuff I have to do but I can't. Pheonix, you can go ahead and take over my character. I'll do something right now, but this will be my last post on this RP.)

"Can you smell that?" Adam nods towards the driver to show that he is not talking to Groo. "Smells like dried garbage." Adam looks over at Groo and through the window at the seconds. "And, look. The flies are gathering."

Adam looks around for a suitable place to hide. "Park over there. We'll figure out what we're going to do there."
