Yeah... good photography does not include lumping a bunch a people into otherwise beautiful pictures. This is coming from a person with fairly extensive photography training and two years of working hands on in a photo lab/camera store. I have seen hundreds of thousands of pictures and know many people that make a living taking pictures and I can't think of a one that would tell you to stay away from landscapes without any people in them. That's a silly idea. If the person taking the picture has a good eye and knows what they are doing including people can improve the picture (I love the picture of Greg+Liz on the beach with the sun coming up) but the mere presence of people themselves does not improve. The pictures you listed, while probably good for memories (just like ours are) are horrible in all other aspects.
That being said, I appreciate you offering up your hosting space, even though Martin has his own, I need to kick him in the butt to get Liz set up for FTP stuff I guess.
