Yes, the ads are atrocious, but no, I do not frequently use the Accuweather's website. Much of their stuff either someone else has done better or are behind subscription content. I linked that website because it actually had a photo of the squirrel, unlike my original choice, Yahoo! news.

Well duh! It's obvious why it's purple! Look at that snowfall map to the right of the page. The squirrel has obviously been hanging out in the area with the purple snow!

Heh, looks like hard times for the Rangers faithful. I admit it took me a minute to grasp what was meant by them being "in administration" as the term isn't used State-side, and I'm not really sure that concept even exists; you're either operating normally or in bankruptcy.

Administration is basically saying that you don't have enough money to pay all your debts, nor anyone internally capable of reversing the situation. From a quick look it appears to be largely similar to Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Wikipedia calls it similar too.

I think the idea is:
Bankruptcy [or Chapter 7 bankruptcy] = We're screwed, pay off what you can from our assets.
Administration [Chapter 11] = Without drastic changes we're screwed, find all ways possible to pay off existing debts while avoiding new ones, and keep the business going.

Saw a truck speeding past me on I-70 carrying a Monster Truck christened "Caged Harlot."

At a Hooters, getting a good seat to watch the National Championship. They have a private channel, showing news events from about this time last year, as if they were current. They really shouldn't even try.

Took me a second to realise you're talking about a televised sports event. I am a little disappointed.

The local Hooters is holding a swimsuit prelims this month. The international championships are in Vegas in June. And the funniest thing was, the bartender was a guy.

The artist representing the UK at Eurovision was Edgarbert Humperdinck. Shouldn't he be swashbuckling and having Cassanova like sex with the Ladies instead of finishing next to last (forget Norway)?

I think Jedward are actually retarded, you know. Any time I hear them screeching an interview, I think it.
They're being taken advantage of by some unscrupulous promoter who makes them do each other while he watches and wanks.

I mean, have a look:

You're not telling me that's normal.

Also, I don't know why they've been dressed up as Dot Matrix from Spaceballs

They don't seem to be able to build on a platform of excellent vocals... Is that their act, or were they put up to it for the show? Looks like they accidentally caught a bad case of ladygagaitis.
