Hmm. My computer seems to be broken. Maybe I should shout my instructions louder.

Use a hilarious Paki accent when doing so.

It's more used to German voices, to be honest.

I've just realised the thing I was referring to isn't a jpeg. Gott in Himmel.

I saw this today, and it made me feel old, nostalgic, and glad to be in our current epoch. Just throwing that out there.

People who give their 8-year-olds energy drinks have no right to complain when those kids get hyper. Just sayin.

The more rural, western part of Massachusetts can be downright frightening.

Well...thanks to having MIT in the area, we do have a number of people who just throw science at the wall to see what sticks...

Also, keep in mind that New England can be downright creepy if you catch it at the right angle. That story is from more the part of Massachusetts where Lovecraft set several of his stories. Western Mass, like all rural New England, can freak a person out pretty easily. And that's without two-headed, three-beaked birds running around.

Inbreeding is supposedly common in the rural areas. Apparently, even the birds do it.

Whoever said its not a series until the road team wins really doesn't understand sports. NBA conference West Semis --- that's a series.

This article wrote:Community council chairwoman Marjorie Keddie has said the party would show "that we are neither dull or boring".

Mrs Keddie added: "We are also excited at the prospect of a new road sign...

People who walk away from a jammed photocopier without even attempting to unjam it should be summarily executed without trial.

Liabilities and the fear of making a bad situation worse, Rorsch. So essentially, fear of getting sued. Also, do they still just have photocopiers? I would have thought those photocopiers would have merged with everything involved with printing and faxing and boiled the water for the office coffee by now.

Maybe in Litigiousland but I'm not buying that here.

It's common practice to have to open up the innards of our overworked and ancient photocopiers before they'll do anything for you. It's kind of like foreplay, only with more swearing.
And certainly leaving them jammed without doing anything about it - even as little as notifying the office staff who are expected to be able to carry out rudimentary repairs - for the next person to fix, out of sheer laziness and indifference, should earn the culprit a sustained beating with the thing.

Smash smash smash, I'd go, as their teeth would fly merrily through the air. Every bone in their face shattering like a dropped egg. Smash smash smash. "Please, Gianni" they'd gum, "Let me die". "Not until I shake this jammed paper loose!" I'd say. Smash smash smash.

Mmm...justicey...

We can create wonderful smartphones, but we can't make printers that won't jam up. What a pity.
