Rant: Burned my thumb while soldering today. But not with the iron itself like a normal person, I'd forgotten I'd left the plastic cap on the iron while I was warming it up. When I noticed it was still on, I tried to take it off, not realising the plastic had become crazy hot.

Thanks guys! I was up early on Saturday and was a little bored, so surfed the internet, worked on my quilting, etc. First chance I have been able to get back on though, so a bit busy the last two days.

Everything go okay?

Everything went great! It was an awesome wedding, awesome party, and the Caps won Saturday and Sunday. Everything I could have asked for. Nothing went wrong at all. Too bad he left to go home this morning. I will see him in two weeks though.

I don't know what the Caps are. What sport is this that has a team playing two consecutive days? Some kind of Japanese endurance thing? Or maybe just football (or 'soccer', if you will) players are massive pussies.

Washington Capitals, they are the hockey team I am a fan of. The minister promised they would win Saturday and they won Saturday and Sunday. Everyone at the party said I should get married every weekend.

Remind me: you two are going to eventually be moving in together, right? You're headed to Canadia, or vice versa?

I'm going to head to Canada. I sent in my paperwork for my Visa this morning, so now it is just the waiting game. It will probably take 8-12 months for it to come in.

In the meantime, it is visiting as usual, with occasional drive ups to move some of my stuff.

Rant: Work texted me at around 9:00pm asking if I could come in tomorrow 'cause lunch is going to be "really busy with the patio open and the nice weather". That means a whole two hours if I'm lucky. Can't sleep right now because I'm too pissed off and can't decide between telling them to fuck off, or cancelling my mid-day packing/moving plans because they give me so few hours and I need to take what I can get.

Rant: If I didn't need to have a full time job for the purpose of this "getting married in the UK" paperwork I would drop this bloody job like the dead weight it is.

Rant: When I do finally get fed up and give up on this job, the chances of finding a new full-time that's okay with my leaving for a month and a half at the end of july are so slim it's not even worth thinking about. 'Course, if I can't prove that I've got a job to come back to they may deny me the visa anyways, so I guess that won't matter terribly much.

Rant: I'm not normally an agressive person but I'm nearly at the point of putting holes in my walls with my fists.
