So here's one from my own backyard.
I'm at a Wendy's, waiting to order. Guy in front of me is a local stereotype: salt & pepper hair, thick mustache, thick local accent, polo shirt with a corporate logo...basically every fourth middle-aged white male in this state. He proceeds to order the most specific fast food meal I've ever heard (down to the quantity of mustard and ketchup, and asking for "eight ounces of ice cream with foua ounces of arange sodar." The clerk, a poor, helpful young lady whose first language was clearly not English, was dutifully trying to take down his order when
he started to lecture her about customer service and how she should be bending over backward for him. This went on until the manager came out, trying to diffuse this guy. Now, he wasn't being belligerent, but he was naturally loud. It seemed like he actually thought this was the nice and honest thing to do, teaching this clerk at Wendy's why she needs to take his shit with a smile on her face.
To add to the local experience, everyone in line behind this guy was noticeably laughing at him, and a woman of about the same age somewhere behind me started to "politely" argue with him when he said to the clerk that she should serve him as if he were her husband. I truly wish I could say this happens elsewhere, but there's no way.
