I would suggest the book "Writer's Market." It lists what publishers are likely to take what, how they want you to submit it, how likely publication is, who is more apt to take unpublished writers, yadda, yadda, yadda. It also gives tips on how to write an intro letter to get the publisher...

I have to agree, definately a cult classic. I'm not usually a fan of horror-type movies, but my best friend is so it was a treat for her so to speak. Rock on, fellow accountant!! I liked it in school, but my job is just too dull since I'm not advanced enough yet to do more than menial tasks. Ah vell. At least it pays the bills.
