PPPoe and obtaining IP automatically
If you have DSL then you have to use the PPPoe option. If you don't then it wont' access the account with your username/pw and the connection won't happen. I have a linksys router and w/o the PPPoe it won't connect. I have Verizon DSL so don't know if that's part of it. Oh, and if you want a good co...

What type of connection are you using?
Broadband cable modem? DSL? It's hard to tell what the problem might be without knowing that. IF it's Cable Modem or DSL then you need to remove the OBTAIN IP AUTOMATICALLY and choose PPPoe and enter your username/pw info so the router can log in.
