I'd like to see the OS X desktop version of this month's gift be altered. Most mac users have thier icons appear on the right side of the desktop (default behavior), so the text could easily interfere with the icons. I'd like to see it moved to the left side of the screen.

Macs use mostly industry standard parts, so you can pretty much swap what you like as long as it doesn't need drivers. If it needs drivers, then you have to make sure it has Mac-compatible ones. A very wide range of peripherals are available with little to no configuration.
