Re: Rest In Peace Blaze

I'll be 40 this year. It's hard to even imagine how young I was when I first came to this community.

Re: What to play?

I'm playing WoW and FFXIV, though I'm taking a bit of a break from both since we're mid-content on either side. I've been using the downtime to catch up on my single player games. Finally finished Control, and did the Foundation DLC, and I can honestly say it's probably my GotY from last year. It's ...

Re: Default title change

Myself and a lot of my friends are playing Animal Crossing, and several of us ended up picking "Unhindered Eventuality" as our passport nicknames, so that's one I like.

Edit: Completely independent of each-other too.

Re: Twentieth(-ish) RLF Anniversary Gathering?

So, funny story (well, not really, but...): In 2007 when we went to Duck, everyone went out for dinner/drinks and I was going to get one that came in a fun piratey mug that you got to keep, but I'd forgotten my ID back at the house and was kind of sad about it. Fast forward to... 2011-2012ish (I can...

Re: Twentieth(-ish) RLF Anniversary Gathering?

I can't guarantee I'll make it, but I *can* guarantee that this time I'll have proper luggage, with real luggage tags and everything. The Spanks you met in 2007 was preeeeeeetty green, I'm not going to lie, though he's pretty much gone now anyways. In three years it could be as though he never exist...

Re: Miss me?

Miss me? Like the ever-hopeful desert yearns for the rain. Only to remain alone and unquenched all its desolate days.* * This being RLF, I am fully prepared to be presented with the evidence that no desert is ever actually permanently dry and, in fact, here is the average yearly rainfall around the...

Re: Son of Rantettes & Ravettes

Hormone therapy will make hair grow in a bit more slowly and thinner, but once the beard has grown in it'll never stop on its own. Laser will reduce it, but it could eventually come back, and I'm not a good candidate anyways, being very blonde. Electrolysis goes in with a needle, one hair at a time,...

Re: Son of Rantettes & Ravettes

Rave: With restrictions easing, electrolysis is back on the table, though only on my neck for now since both myself and my electrologist continue to wear maks. Rant: Since I can't shave if I want the hair removed properly, I have a *literal* neckbeard now. 10 sessions down, only ~90+ to go... *sigh*

Re: Twentieth(-ish) RLF Anniversary Gathering?

Honestly, Duck's Landing 2007 (Was it 2007? It was right before I moved to PEI) still stands out as one of my favourite vacations. I ended up staying a couple of blocks down a few years later with my wife's family, though it was earlier in the season, and it was just as lovely. I'mma keep an eye on ...
