I've been keeping my Microsoft Natural keyboard (first edition) on those "little feet" for a couple of years now. I think it's better. Also, fact is that the right foot broke off some time ago and I've stacked 2 pencil erasers on top of each other and placed them under the right foot's slo...

I really don't know how to explain this, I'm no historical expert... but try the wikipedia if your curious :) As for the other lands, no, they were Lithuanian, Russian (or Mongolian at one time) prior to being taken by us :) Poland once stretched from the Baltic to the Black Sea ... Also, Lithuania ...

Re: Vinyl Question

Sorry for the long absence, was a bit busy with the whole New Year's Eve thing and all ;) If I were a vinyl enthusiast and rich (the two rarely go hand-in-hand), I would want it for sure I don't know if vinyl + rich don't go with being "rich" ... those top turntables and cartridges can cos...

Re: Vinyl Question

An honest and backed-up opinion Deacon, I must say :) Seems like you've written the whole Analog vs. Digital thing all over, it sounds almost like you'd be wanting to start a war or something. Too radical man, cool off a bit. I had no intentions to toss a lasso, put some "digital users" in...

Well Jim, vinyl record technology has been gradually changing throughout the years while the Audio CD stays more or less the same since it hasn't changed a lot technically speaking since it's introduction (i.e. think CD-Text). It's just the recording and mixing technology and strategies that have ch...

Kingston has a pretty solid reputation going on... but a year ago when I put 2x Kingston 512MB DDR2's into my DFI nf4 LanParty SLI-DR mainboard, I just couldn't get it to start in dual-channel mode, no matter what BIOS version I used for the mobo, so I bought cheap GoodRAM's and they work like a cha...

I've been collecting vinyl records for almost 3 years now, seems like I'm the first who can openly say that here on RLF... but I'm glad that someone started such a thread, cause I could talk about technical audio stuff all day without a sweat ;) (especially analog audio). I also run an audio-related...

Re: Old-New stock from Poland

nah guys, I'm still around (not the scardy-cat type), just been a bit too busy these days, that's all :) I dunno Martin and Makh, I think that although the Russians control most of our oil and gas supplies, we're not afraid of 'em that much ;) As for the Germans, well ... let's say that although &qu...
