I needed this thread to get it, and I don't know why. I'm actually pretty knowledgeable on Christianity and a few other faiths :(

Re: 9-24-2007 - The Game

Isn't there a rule that if someone directly mentions the game, you have a half hour grace period to forget it again? Well we play with that rule anyway, and I count this comic as directly mentioning it so nya. 3months and counting.

Biodegradable? Look down at the footpath next time you're out walking. See all those ugly black spots? That's chewing gum people.

The comic was pretty funny :) but I must disapprove of the littering. Bad Greg! Bad!

I watched the first season and liked it. I watched the second season and thought it was OK to begin with, but eventually got tired of ludicrous plot twists and stopped watching. Now if I want something with plot twists there's always heroes or BSG, both of which are far better series IMHO.

How is it a fact that they're irrelevant? It's really just your opinion. If enough people in the right places shared those thoughts it certainly wouldn't be irrelevant and action would be taken as a result of them. Your statement that my opinion is irrelevant is just your opinion, which someone coul...

Ahh, the back of a computer... of course. I was also reminded of a microwave.

Actually I think it is the back and side of a white case, see the semi-oval with a grey to white gradient? That's the grib you use to slide the side panel off, Greg just forgot to put it in perspective I think

Should have quoted my source, which is based not on reported deaths but the mortality rate rise in Iraq since the war. http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~chazelle/politics/bib/lancet.pdf At the time this was published (2004) reported death count = 15000. Cluster sampling indicated death count closer to 10...

In principle I can understand this kind of thing. This is probable a cliché example but what if you were a soldier in the German army during WWII. At which point would you no longer be 'dishonourable' 'cowardly' and whatever else has been thrown at this guy for deserting the army? In this case well....

Wet kite string would probably be a decent conductor, there should be enough ions in the water to carry a current. I've heard you can survive a lightning strike in a rather amusing way... by having it strike you and following the 'hollow conductor' principle flow through the layer of water around yo...

Wow, you're getting really riled up about this and I'm not sure why. In any case I think this initiative is a clever tactic to point out the hypocrisy of another groups argument and more power to them, I'd definitely sign it. This proposal is just a means to an end, the end being rights for gays tha...
