Re: Real Life Comics Meet-up

We had a fabulous time with all of you too! We'll have to remember that our house can't fit more than about 10 people at any time. It really was a blast. I apologize if we weren't able to talk with everyone, but hopefully we can do something like this again soon. Perhaps a book release party? Hmmmm...

Re: When air masses collide. 2008-03-28

Ahh yes, the ever threatening National Weather Service! They got the entire city of Houston to evacuate a couple years back. They treat "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" as a guide to living... That happened just weeks after Hurricane Katrina almost wiped New Orleans off the map, so everyone livin...

Re: Real Life Comics Meet-up

Wish I hadn't forgotten my bloody SD card. Friggin' made my digicam useless , so I just left it in the car. [EDIT: ... FUCK . I think it's still in the car. Freakin' $200 camera my boyfriend bought me, and I just leave it in someone else's car ... *sigh* I'm not going to hear the end of this, I don...

Re: Real Life Comics Meet-up

Oh man, I am so down for this. I just signed up to post this. =P Been lurking around for a long, long time now. But to all the people that are heading out there from Houston. Anyone willing to take along one more? I'd be more that grateful. Don't have a ride out there. :( I'm already haulin' one up...

Re: Real Life Comics Meet-up

I dunno....It'll have a hard time beating my Grampa's brisket. Or his pulled pork....But then again, Native Texans do tend to be rather partial to the family recipes. But anyway. Good brisket makes the drive up from Houston even MORE worth it. We took a Texan there a few weeks ago who doubted that ...

Re: Real Life Comics Meet-up

Liz made a good point - we should DEFINATELY have this little shindig at Kreuz' market, just up the road. We'll update the page to reflect that, but not only is the place huge, it has the best brisket you will EVER consume. EVER. Srsly. I dunno....It'll have a hard time beating my Grampa's brisket....

Re: Real Life Comics Meet-up

If there's anyone in the general Houston area going, please let me know; I'd like to go too, but I have no usable means of transportation [being legally blind sucks, and I doubt my parents're going to want to drive me about 5 hours both ways to meet a bunch of people I've met over the internet]. Wh...
