I don't think that relying solely on physical evidence is practical, given the number of scientists that would be required if this method were to be implemented in all cases.
all the better if they do. it'll keep me in a job at least....

Re: Celebrity Deathmatch: Christianity vs. Islam

India is primarily Hindu, and Indonesia, the last time I checked, is primarily Buddhist. Indonesia is 88% Muslim, according to the CIA World Factbook. Buddhist comes in at 1%, behind Protestant, Roman Catholic and Hindu. Muslims are the second largest religious group in India, at 12%, with Hindu th...

Triviarre, what you mention there is vaccines. those have dead or inactivated viruses which the immune system can identify and build up defences against, without an actual infection. this new thing is working towards targeting live viruses towards cancer cells to kill them, or possibly using the vir...

mind you, if the definition of "typo" is the only thing in that post that people can pick fault with, then I'm happy.

I do actually know the difference between fusion and fission. It was just a typo, albeit a bad one.

Re: Can a neutron be "jammed"?

a) Common nuclear bombs dont use fission the way most people think they do. The fission reaction is only used for a fraction of a second, and doesn't actually do much other than catylize a fusion reaction in the main chamber of the bomb. The fission is needed to emit large ammounts x-rays, heat, an...

i thought your argument was based only on relativity? why do you need to bring brane theory into it? and don't even think about mentioning string theory!

Re: Brain Implants

why does it need to be in the brain? a simple tracking chip could be placed almost anywhere else. if it's brainwaves you're after, then electrodes on or under the scalp would do better. assuming of course that they could be reliably interpreted.

>>>Why's it theoretically impossible, if you could theoretically accelerate a dimension?<<<

mathematically, acceleration is the second derivative of position. you tell me where time is, and i'll let you accelerate it.
