The idea he might postpone the Election is scary. Very scary. (Note the following comments aren't an accusation) How hard would it be to get a few diehard supporters to fake a terrorist attack? Thats one of the methods Hitler used to rise to power. (He torched a bit of the German Parliment and blame...

Re: Air dropped Mines

Someone should have thought to have put the writing on the boxes in Pashtu and Arabic and other Afghani langauges. (I am not listing them all, they have far too many).

As presumably English looks as Alien to them as Pashtu would to me :)

Air dropped Mines

During Vietnam (and Afghanistan I believe),Land Mines were dropped from airplanes to act like conventional land mines.

How do these work? and why don't they blow up when dropped from a plane, yet they do when stood on?

Any suggestions or answers

As an Aethist I wont comment on the religous aspect merely the scientific aspect.

The most important particles from which all else is made (Quarks, and Leptons) are incredibly Tiny. Yet they are hugley significant.

Its true guys, Size doesn't matter.

But they can't develop. Teach a dog to sit when you point down it will not stand when you point up without being taught.

A Human child will derive meanings rather than needing to be taught them. Whilst Animals can learn, a computer can learn. A sign of true intelligence is in deriving for yourself.

First forum I've seen a debate about the appropriate use of Morning.

In a small circle of my peers morning is the appropriate greeting at any time of day for some odd reason.
