Just a slight warning for Greg... I had one of the pilots (I believe his name was Mr. Nicolici) from Rancho Murieta airport come into Fry's today. He asked if I'd gone flying today. I'll try and point out some more obscure authors i've read. For fun, dark, sarcastic humor I highly recommend Steven Brust's Vlad Taltos novels. Robin Hobb (real name Megan Lindholm) has written a great series of epic fantasy novels about a prince's bastard raised as an assassin for the royal family...
