Re: May 7 - The Drafthouse

Don't forget to get there early, Greg... first, to get a good seat, obviously, but also to take in the awesome pre-show entertainment they always whip out for every film. In the case of "Iron Man," that's a set of the old 1960s animated cartoon. It's craptastic!

Welcome to Texas, Greg.

Come up to Austin and I'll buy you a beer.

Turning Japanese

Actually, if you really pay attention to the lyrics, that song is offensive in any context. "Turning Japanese" refers to the way a guy's eyes squint when he masturbates.

Re: Product placement

There's an arcade called Einstein's on Guadalupe St right across from the U.T. campus. I was having a lovely time playing Silent Scope one day, just picking people off right and left, when suddenly I looked to my right and saw, through the window, the UT tower from which Charles Whitman killed 15 pe...

Product placement

I wholeheartedly agree with Greg. Too much product placement in a piece of entertainment can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Greg, my advice is to wash it down with a cool, refreshing Pepsi.

Greg, Greg, Greg.

The other posters are right. You don't need to stoop to homosexuality and drug jokes. Those are for utter losers.

Re: 6/5/05 - Greg is AWOL

The premise of the comic is entirely reasonable. Think about it. Greg does the whole strip in Illustrator, right? So the building blocks to build new strips are all there on his hard drive, ready to be used by anyone. And should Greg's computer gain sentience (which, if movies from the '80s are any ...
