Need MMORPG Recommendations
I started with EQ, way back when. I played from '01-'03, roughly, and having been away from MMOs for so long, I'm tempted to get back into it again now that my summer break's here and I have four months of free time, barring a two-month internship. Along with FF, it was originally what got me into t...

Re: Prolonged Sigh...
Good news. I was PMSing. Also, is it some sort of semi-faux-pas for a forum rant to be a depressive lament of one's own pathetic-ness? (patheticity?) Isn't that partially the purpose of a rant page?

Prolonged Sigh...
I'm feeling very ignored and insignificant right now. I don't know if I have a camouflage reflex, or emit a pheromone that makes people get off on ignoring me, or am unaware of having a voice so high-pitched that it's beyond the human capacity to hear, but I'm very, very tired of not being acknowled...

What activity is a good physical outlet for aggression?
I don't know if it's the shit I have to deal with in my daily life (which admittedly isn't that bad, but it does build up without an outlet) or if it's just testosterone overload, but I'm feeling in dire need of some sort of physical outlet for aggression. Sports seem the obvious answer but a) which...

Re: Geeky fanboy/girl sex talk
My raging, uncontrollable ninja fetish combined with that episode of Family Guy where Chris goes out with that girl who looked like a guy until she took off her overalls has led me to start wanting Sheik from Ocarina of Time. Not as-is, but I sometimes imagine being Link and wandering around the kok...

My friend has issues
I have a friend who loves being a victim. She is a drama queen and absolutely loves bitching about her life. She likes hating her life and pretending she has no control because it is much, much easier than actually trying to make any improvement. She complains about things that have absolutely no re...

Who was that character from R.A. Salvatore's Demonwars saga?
The one who could build all these intricate traps and was impossibly stealthy and basically just the stereotype of a rogue. I can't remember his name and it's driving me nuts.

Music-geek wannabe trying to expand repertoire. Suggestions?
I've gradually developed a subtler taste in music over the past few years, and I'm trying to get my playlist to keep up but unfortunately I don't really know where to look for music, since the only real options I have atm are browsing through iTunes in excruciating detail, waiting for word-of-mouth ...

101 facts that give happiness and hope
I've been feeling a sore lack of happy or hopeful thoughts in my life and while I normally fight this with cynical humor, it's become incredibly exhausting as an approach, so I'm looking for a few things to help perk me up. If anyone has some good happy facts, please share them. 1. I'm skeptical of ...
