Did anybody bother to ask what the guy was like? Maybe he was a total jerk and he was hoping that by doing it publicly she would be forced to say yes. Just because a guy asks in an elaborate way does not mean he is the right one for her. Maybe they had only been dating a short time, maybe they were not really serious, maybe he shocked the hell out of her. Calling her a bitch is not really fair. You people act like a public marriage proposal should mean she HAS to say yes. Yikes. Scary.
That said, I did not watch the video, I was mostly responding to the comments made here.

I agree with MC, just because she said no to his proposal doesn't make her a bad person. If you're not ready to get married or you don't think it's right, you should say yes just because he used a fancy way to propose.

I really doubt that they'd have been dating for a short time. Who takes their girlfriend that they haven't gone out with that much to a backetball game?

See, this is why I would never propose to woman in such a public place. It is a bit silly to assume that she's some evil whore just because she said no, we don't really know the circumstances. It could be either way, he could be some jerk who hopes to trap her, or he could be a loser who'd been dating her for a week, or perhaps she had been stringing him along for years and he thought it was a sure thing. We really don't know so I think its a bit hasty to be calling her a bitch.

The only reason I say she's a bitch is because she kinda jogged away from him.
She said no and got the hell out of there. It would have been different if she'd doen things differently.
But then agian you can't be hasty as to call the guy a jerk

Watching it again, it seems like she just ran away from him. That can go two ways

Umm...you don't date much do you. For thsoe people who have real jobs, a basketball game is a very common date type activity for those interested in sports. Heck, it is a common activity for friends to attend as well.
Yeah, running away. You have just been called in front of thousands of people and someone tried to trap you into doing something you did not want. I would get the hell out of there too. If he did not know her well enough to figure out that she would not be comfortable, or that she would not say yes, then he should not have proposed.
Oh, and leaving might very well have been a panic reaction. Big crowd and awkward question. Not everyone reacts the same. We have no idea what they said to eachother later. Heck it could have even been a joke between friends! Some guy calls a friend down and plays a joke on her. She gets upset and leaves. We know nothing about this at all.
