no, they used it as a way to get their stadium in the news, a fairly common stunt, doesent have to be good, publicity is publicity.

Funny, I feel more sorry for the lady having it sprung on her than the guy...

I'm with MC on this one for sure.

Uhhhh. I don't pretend to know which stadium that is, but a Wizard's game in DC? Yeah, that'd be the MCI center. That stadium has absolutely 0 reasons to do publicity stunts. Frankly, when someone does a concert, or whatever, they usually try to book the MCI center. It is prime friggin location in DC for any event. I don't think I've ever seen any big name playing in DC play anywhere other than the MCI center unless someone else is already there.

And maybe she got cold feet. Heaven knows I would. That floor is laid overtop the ice of a hockey rink. Those boards would be absolutely freezing. :D
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled; but how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere? Tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Well, that's what I said earlier, to all those MC backers. It's really not nice to ask a girl publicly like that, because it's entraping, but it's ALSO not nice of the woman to just embarass him like that either. She could have indeed leaned in, whispered, "we need to talk about it" and kissed him and they could have run out together.

Look, lets agree that both of them could have handled it better, both are in the wrong.

Now lets stop trying to debate this like it acctually matters to us

Yes, lets stop making dozens of supositions about their relatioinship and what did or did not happen in it to paint a picture about who's fault it is.

Or let's talk about the humourous video in any way we deem appropriate? Yeah sounds good to me.

Ouch that's rough. His fault for proposing in public though. You run the risk of that happening if you do that. I've always been told not to propose in public solely for that reason. I do have to say though, I doubt Miss Cheetah's take on this one. That just sounds way to far fetched for me.
