Let me guess, TSJ, you deny that games can have any sort of deepness to them or make any sort of profound statements? Or just FF9?

Oh, I know they can. I'll be the first person to say it. But if I had a dime for everytime someone started this moronic Aerith/Phoenix Down/KO arguement, I could have bought this forum and shut it down so I wouldn't have to here it again.

Oooooh. I thought you were yelling at the original thread, not the Phoenix Down thing.

Bah, everyone knows FFT settled that argument anyway. You can only Phoenix Down within a few seconds, and with Sephy standing over her body, there was no chance. Same as General Leo and Kefka.

There is sort of a 5 second rule. (I'm not saying that you have to use the Phoenix Down in 5 secs, but I'm making an analogy to the 5 second rule.)

Those are forest SPRITES. Imps are nasty little things with knives. Sprites play games with you and help you with your farm.

Well I think the whole "females in video games are ruining america" is an idiotic argument. It's not just the females! Look at all the males: they all have huge muscles without ever working out, are always handsome, and are perfect in everyway.

Another note, in the official playstation magazine a reader cut out a bunch of pictures of girls that they had found in the magazine. They said because of all these girls with "nothing on" she will have to stop buying their magazine. She didn't bother to count how many guys are in the magazines. There is nearly the same ammount, so it doesn't make sense to me why people complain about "perfect females" in the media when the same is true about males.
