Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh.

To be truthfull, I've been thinking about getting one for a while.

You only say that so you can watch the halftime show! Again, and again, and again, and again...

It is available in the UK
Sky+ is pretty much the same tho
tis a little more reliable however
what you want is a dedicated box with a decent chip, good graphics out card, and a TV in/out card
Set up with that its much cheaper to build a system than buy one
Plus its cheaper to get a 200gb HD for a box than a Tivo

Tivo is a very evil program... the only thing it's good for is to hit your little brother on the head with.... or to use as a tivo screensaver for your tv

Just a note Cyberskull, you dont need to (and probably shouldnt) post the actual comic in each thread you make about one. A link would probably be best.

I have DVR(TiVo like functions) built into my cable box through Insight Cable. It only costs like 5 bucks more a month and I dont have a sperate box, so I dont have to worry about the problems with changing channels and I dont have to worry about getting those pesky tv screen savers. I think a lot of cable companys are starting to have the DVR option with their cable service so you should look into that before buying a TiVo.

Um. My TiVo works GREAT. It has NEVER crashed and it is incredibly easy to use. I don't know what I'd do without it.

I have had a tivo from the VERY begning (500 bucks for a 13 hour 4 years ago or so). I am totaly in love. if my tivo died right now i whould be at Wrostbuy in 15 min to get a fresh one. It has't been 100% glitch free (had to have them reload the OS once over the phone line took 3 hours) but to be 100% honest I am surpeized that the hard driver are still working on PC has an avrange 18 month life span on a HD. Greg call tivo support one you get past level 1 there very helpfull..

"The room was empty of furnishment, save for a five-pillared seat rising so far aloft without stairs or other means of approach, that it seemed only a winged being could ever attain thereto. But on the seat was a figure shrouded with thick, sable darkness, and having over it's head and features a caul of grisly shadow." - Clark Ashton Smith. "The Seven Geases."
