Yes we do... *shrugs* It just depends on if the cool people show up or not. I have been to some very fun forum gatherings.
I am not willing to drive a long way, waste time off work, and spend money on a hotel room, just to go to a crappy amusement park or sit around and be bored.

I may be interested. It depends on when this is held and if I have any money.

The more I think about it, the worse the idea of an amusement park is. Lake George or Niagra Falls are sounding like decent ideas. Possibly even someplace along Lake Erie. Beaches may not be free, but they are cheap.
There are a ton of beaches across the Finger Lakes as well, which some are only about a 2.5 hour trip from The Shanty.

You know, I was just thinking about it, and IF people, at some point, didn't mind coming all the way to Michigan, I've got a GREAT cabin right on the lake we could hold it at.

You see, I like that idea. I don't have to try and get in and out of Canada, then

. Think of the British >.> <.< (although I would love to go to Canada, too)

February was some lyrics or quotes month or something. I don't even remember what year all this was.

only problem is that Michigan is quite a way out of the way for many East Coasters. It's more mid-west.

Pfff, it's still Eastern Standard Time. Therefore it's East.
Whilst this is open, I'm planning on a US visiting thing. I have about 10-14 more days to fill, so who want me to visit them?

I agree that hiking is an incredibly fun thing to do, though I think that the fun of it could be lost if there's too many people... a large group of people is better suited for city touring, I think...

I haven't been to Ottawa yet, and it sounds like a good idea. Now, the only thing I'd be worried about is the time. The only slot I was able to get for vacation from work is the last week of July.
If that can be done I'm game as well

Yo Mav, I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish but Hirschoff had the best sig trends of all time.

I would be there if it was in Michigan. Most likely be there if it was western New York area. And would consider as far as Ottawa (gets to be quite a drive).

It's looking like I should invest in a shotgun, a rockingchair, and a straw hat sometime soon...

How about good old New York City? Simply because I can't afford to travel...
