Y'know... one might have thought, looking at the thread title, that this would be the place that WOMEN talk to each other, instead of having the guys embarrass themselves to a major point.

Who's stopping you talking to the other women on the board in ANY of the threads, or are you suggesting this should be a female-only thread? (I am not automatically arguing against this btw it's an interesting idea, I just am not sure what you meant)
I and my top-hat do not consider ourselves to be embarrassing ourselves, we do very well with women in real life, we are only having a laugh. If that does not impress you I shall have to resort to the big guns

Well, let's compare them side-by-side for a moment, shall we?

Computers
Positives
Simple to understand and read (if you have a monitor).
Easy to communicate to (using only your hands, no less).
Do not attempt to insert anything into you, quite the contrary, wish to have you plug all sorts of devices in them.
You never have to fake a headache with a computer.
A computer will never yell at you or strike you, although it might shock you on occasion (zzzap!).
Come with instructions.

Negatives
Attempting to snuggle up to a computer gives you keyboard face, or cuts depending on whether or not you buff the edges of your monitor and case.
A computer cannot give you advice or emotional feedback.
A computer cannot perform any physical actions (yet).

Men
Positives
Warm and pleasant to cuddle up next to.
Can fix your car, toaster, cabinet, etc. with the proper equipment.

Either Positive or Negative
Sex (good or bad, take your pick).
Can smile, frown, and communicate using interesting bodily functions.
Will listen and give you tips (which may or may not be what you wanted).

Negatives
Has this annoying facial and body hair issue.
Does not have an off switch.
Never has sufficient memory to run the programs you want to, like washdishes.exe or takeoutgarbage.exe
Difficult to upgrade.

Given the way men and computer line up, it's not surprising women are choosing computers or even other females over men.
