You know, a lot of gays go through therepy to try to "un-gay" themselves. I think it does much more harm than good.

It's been demonstrated repeatedly and thoroughly to be completely and utterly ineffective and generally significantly psychologically damaging. Repression and denial are never good things, and that's basically what the 'therapy' was all about.

I think the therapy is designed to make gays feel bad about themselves. Despite whether being gay is natural or unnatural, right or wrong, making people go through "therapy" to change what is an essential part of themselves is unethical. Making them hate themselves more isn't going to help anyone.

I think you've firmly demonstrated that you don't think.

You know, I'm getting kind of pissed off with this. Just because a man is effeminate, does NOT mean he's gay.

I keep telling my anger management therapist the same thing. Repressing an denying my anger is really messing up my mental health.

If you actually have an anger management therapist who is telling you to repress or deny the existence of your anger, well, he or she is not much of a therapist... But, Deacon... you're far too level headed to ever need such a therapist... right? :shifty:

Would it be possible for you, do you honestly think, to choose to be gay? If you had a reason to, could you find a naked, hairy man attractive? If you wanted to?
Hahaha. That's what it takes for a woman to be straight, is it really THAT hard to believe that some girls AREN'T attracted to it?

Personal view: If someone is attractive to you, does it matter of which sex they are? I mean I like the penis as much as the next hetero woman, but there's something plain-fucking-hot about a pretty girl with soft lips and nice curves.

I did it one time and I liked it
So I did it two times, got addicted
Had to do it three times, couldn't help it
And the number four time was the best

Sigh. I guess that's one way to get a thread locked. However, I've always wondered why people decide a thread needs to be locked simply because they personally do not see it going anywhere they find interesting... If I applied that criteria to the entire forum, I'd have to ask for about 70% of all the threads to be locked. Thread lockage should only really occur if inappropriate subjects are being discussed in too much detail (linking to porn sites or some such) or if things are degenerating into a flame war or mindless bickering/posting completely off topic.

Yawn.
