Cheating?
When I cheat, mostly I don't put much effort into it, I just look at my notes periodically or copy off someone else (for scantron tests, its easy). One good way to cheat, though, is to use a calculator. I have a TI-83+, which has a program-writing function. You can just copy notes into the calculator, save them, and look them up during a test. Trust me, no one will ever find out. Of course, this generally only works for tests where you could conceivably be using a calculator.
In the end though, it's really the bees that get Sam.
We cheated the whole year in our one History course back in HS. We had a few different lunch schedules which resulted in us being in class 10 minutes before the teacher ever got there. Our tests were all multiple choice, and she always had the answers in her book up on the desk
. One guy would go up & copy all the answers down & distribute it to the class. I could write very small, and fit all the answers on a 1/4" x 1" piece of paper that I stuck to the inside of my left middle finger. I sat against the right-side wall, so I only had to worry about the teacher being on my left side. I just had to put my left hand on the desk in a normal fashion, and I could see all answers in the space between my index finger & thumb. I did the same for a few friends in the class as well. We all agreed to randomly mark wrong answers as to not arouse much suspicion. All classmates did surprizingly well that year

I have no real use for or desire to cheat. The consequences I would suffer for cheating are alot worse than the possible benefits when I don't really need to to get by.
At my school we buy our own Blue Books and Scantrons at the book store but we turn them into the professor before the exam, he/she shuffles them and passes them out to us so that no one has the Blue-Book they walked in with.
Last semester in my American History from 1877 course someone wrote their essay in their Blue Book prior to class, the professor discovered it, and we got to see a nice show before the exam.

I only ever cheated on computer games, I wouldn't dare cheat on a test, it's just not right. Dishonorable if you will. On one school I went to they did allow you to take your books with you, but if you'd look everything up you would never finish the test in time so learning was the best method anyway. And on another school they didn't allow people to use the T83 anymore when they found out about the storage thing.

In 9th grade spanish I sat next to a girl who had clear notebooks, so she'd put the notes for the test on the top page and read them through the cover. I always asked her to put them between us so I could see, too, but she always did better than me because she would study what wasn't on her cheat sheet and I wouldn't study anything.

I never cheat - I do well enough anyway and I'm always afraid of getting caught. Only time I did was at a biology test last year, which was anything but a test. Everyone was talking and telling each other the answers they knew, and you could find out most of the right answers simply by listening and asking other people. And the worst was, the teacher was wandering around the class helping students and she never noticed the chatting going on around her.

In high school we used to get this sheet with every question that was gonna be on the test.. plus like 15 extra.. so i'd memorize the easy ones and then right the other ones on my leg under my sock... during the test bring my leg up on my other leg, and just pull down my sock!! lol It worked... Numerous times...
