Hello all! Guess I'm a noob on this forum now...

Well, I suppose an introduction is in order. :lol:
My name's Jon, though it appears that I've chosen the handle of "baeleth" for this particular forum. I've got more than a passing interest in anime, manga, & games & when I'm not at my day job or goofing off with my wife & kids I'm working toward a career doing what I love (drawing) as opposed to... well... what I do now. I've only been introduced to Real Life in the last year or so, but it quickly became my favorite web comic. I enjoy it enough that I've actually submitted a guest comic for consideration (little late, I know, but I only found out about the opportunity yesterday...). Anyhoo, I've enjoyed reading the comic & forums for a little while now & I'm lookin' foreward to joinin' this little online community. :D

Newbies who refuse to capitalize their own names make me sick... especially when said newbie makes an effort to properly capitalize their post. Not sure if it IS properly capitalized, as I do not intend to read it(the uncapitalized name really gives a poor first impression), but it bothers me. A lot.

Your name is the first thing people think of when they think of you on the forum, and if you're not going to put any effort into it people are not going to think much of you.

I know that *I* think that you're an ass, and I haven't even read your post! Work on that if you intend to stick around... please?

Um, if you aren't going to read the text of a post, isn't it a little rude to reply? You know, Spanks, I have read your post & *I* have drawn the same conclusion about you. Perhaps you could work on that too. At least I have a friendly, easygoing personality to fall back on. With an introduction like that, I hardly get the impression that you are qualified to be giving anyone advice on first impressions or etiquette. Oh, and if you could do me a favor? Please don't post a reply to anything I say unless your response is constructive & non abrasive. I don't enjoy people being rude to me for no good reason & I won't respond to it in the future. I'm fine with sarcasm & friendly ribbing, but you called me an ass without even reading my post. That's rude. I'm here to enjoy myself & possibly meet some interesting & cool people with similar interests, not to get into some stupid arguement.

Ah well... maybe I'll just change my name to "bAELETH" just for you.

My name isn't really a name, its a thing you knock someone out with(Or a card game) So I see no real reason to capitalise it.
