Fetch.

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Fetch.

Post by Jensen » Mon Apr 19, 2004 9:04 am

I was hoping the "dog" in the monday guest comic would be Greg's pet traffic cone. Yes, Greg actually had a bright orange traffic cone as a pet. He had a picture of it next to a dog food/water bowl, and another by a tree. He took the pictures down though :-(

I wanted to make a guest strip and hide the cone in the background... but I can't draw or write :-(

I did think that was pretty funny. And had a good feel for what Greg would have written.

i think it's quite a testament that all these guest comics keep the same flavor and humor as Greg's comics.

I can totally see Greg writing that himself. A forgotten pepsi can eventually comes to life from both things growing in it, astrological dust particles, and other primordial ingredients. And to have Greg not be freaked out by the 'life' created in his room, but instead adopt it as a pet and teach it to fetch.

HAHAHAHA!!!
Classic.
My sig would have contained the secret of life, but I'd already clicked submit.

Didn't the pepsi talk back in its introduction? Why can't it now?

I'd like to see it as a reoccuring character.
I'll put something here eventually...

I've noticed that gregs comics aren't so appealing to the eye since some of these really good drawen comics are here.

I think that Greg's comics are great. Solid lines, good use of colour, they're not too busy. Some of these are just too detailed to work for such a simple comic strip... Greg's style is nice and simple... easy on the eyes while still remaining quite expressive.

Its a humor comic not an art comic. Alpha-shade is an art comic (if you need and example for my vague terms)

If I had to draw one comic everyday, I would try to make it as simple as possible. Also, Greg's drawings are cute, a thousand times better than most comics I've seen.

I think Greg's comics are exelently drawn. (or Illustratored, whatever :P ) They're not as flashy as Mac Hall or Megatokyo, but they're always clean and clear, and recently they've really been showing some hard work, theres a lot of background being used now, including some lovely detailed ones like greg's room a while back.
(and he can draw hands pretty well now)

One other thing, I was trying to plot a guest comic, but every idea I had only lasted a few seconds before going "Greg did it." DAMN YOU DEAN! :glare:
"Face it, you're two nipples away from being human."
Did you imagine the final sound as a gun? Or the shattered windows of a car? Did you ever imagine the last thing you'd hear as you're fading out was a song?
