Well, if that is the case, then I can only assume 1 of 2 things: Either there were more than 2 wizards in the area, or Elyse is one of the wizards and the man that died was in truth innocent. Welllll, as promised, I'm closing the polls. Our winner (er..) is Kitsune, AKA nicole.

The townspeople crowded around Nicole. "You seemed to show up right at the beginning of this little mess, didn't you? How convienient" Noted an older villager. "Yeah!" was the reply from several others. "How should we off her?", a couple were wondering.

Ender stepped up, and suddenly the small town was silent. "I am honestly appalled at the rudeness of all of you. Talking about this right in front of her. She may be sentanced, but she's still entitled to some courtesy." He turned to Nicole. "Do you have anything you wish to say to those who have condemned you?"

Nicole lifted her head, tears in her eyes. I know that I am innocent. I just want you all to know that you are killing an innocent woman. My blood will be on your hands for the rest of your pitiful, misinformed lives. She turned to Mills, and now, tears fell freely. I thought we might have had something...now, I fear we'll never know. Maybe if you had spoken up, you could have saved my life. That hurt. She looked back to the crowd, smiled, and reached into her bag, pulling out two of her knives. Pulling back her sleeves, she slit each of her wrists, letting the blood drip, then pour to the ground. After going pale, she dropped to her knees, and started crying agian.

OOC:leaving it open in case Ender wanted to add anything, or anyone else for that matter.... *looks at aml and frowns*

Edgar sat and watched, quietly. As Nicole died he bowed his head and made the same gesture he did after the death of Frosty, and then laced his fingers together, frowning as he looked at everyone's faces, searching for something ... and then his gaze came to rest upon Elyse's, eyes narrowing as if to cast blame towards her for Nicole's death and her narrow escape ...

in that case, Edgar had done nothing yet. Well, nothing of note. He rose to go to her side, but Mills would be there first, since he was right there, so in that time frame he doesn't do much of anything.

Mills thought long and hard about what he was about to do. Despite the betrayal the Natalia had bestowed upon his altar of trust so many years ago, he decided to forsake everything he knew as rationale... everything he knew... for a woman he felt himself falling for.

Sacrificing this woman's life will gain you nothing. I have been with her. She is no wizard, of that I am sure. She was quite... good... but not in the magical sense... if you take my meaning.

He points to Elyse

Of this one, I am not sure. Take her. She's a better candidate for a magician than Nicole. I knew a musician named Elyse once. Tawdry wench, she was. Good enough evidence to accuse her of such a crime, methinks.

OOC: I think this vote should go through Ender. It's worth noting that based on the post you made tallying the votes, and the fact that Strucking voted for Elyse afterwards, the votes were actually tied. Thus, I don't know why you called the vote right then and there since it was 4-4. Thus, it would make sense that aml got to cast the deciding vote and also managed to provide a way for you to keep things IC and have the vote switch.
