Inuyasha

Post by JPinsane » Mon May 03, 2004 6:18 am

I've been keeping an eye out on ebay but does anyone know where I could get the new Inuyasha episodes on DVD?
I've never been traipsing before, does it hurt?

Inuyasha is not that bad, but it is not that great either.

Massively over-rated.
I don't know, I get most of the episodes of things I want on Kazaa, but that can take weeks.

Bittorrent works wonders for downloading things quickly, but if you're somewhat moral/ethical you obviously want to make sure you're not downloading something illegally (I'm not sure about the legality of downloading anime) ...

It is perfectly legal to download/watch/distribute a fansub/dub of an anime UNTILL that anime becomes licensed for the US. Then any/all of those episodes are illegal and should be destroyed.

Figures the US would make it illegal, when its origins(Japan) have no laws against us doing the above formentioned things

If you ever visit the Adult Swim forums (something which I do NOT recommend), you'll notice that, while Inuyasha has a large and vocal fan base, those people are generally looked down on by the rest of the forumites. Of course, 99% of the people on the Adult Swim forums are idiots anyway, so everyone basically either jumps on the Inuyasha bandwagon or the hating-Inuyasha bandwagon. Hmm... if you want to have some idea what the forums are like without experiencing the pain of actually going there, consider this: the letters to Adult Swim that are shown during commercials are far-and-away the most coherent things to come out of the forums.
Myself, I like Inuyasha, although it's often annoying. I've never understood why they feel compelled to remind us at least once in nearly every episode that Inuyasha wants the sacred jewel so that he can, "become a full-fledged demon." I use quotes because that is also the exact way they word it every single time. :x
In the end though, it's really the bees that get Sam.

So because their country apparantly has no respect for copyright infringement, we shouldn't either? I'm sorry, but that is some retarded logic.

Last week I missed the lat episode of Cowboy Bebop on Adult Swim.

I downloaded it and watched it yesterday.

I feel no guilt.
