Zelda: Master Quest
I pre-ordered Zelda: The Wind Waker a while ago, but I made the mistake of doing it at Gamestop.com, so I won't get my bonus disk until tuesday, at the earliest. Does anyone lucky enough to have Master Quest want to tell me some of the differences from the original? It would help tide me over until I am able to play it.

It's the same as OOT, only the dungeons are tougher. No graphical enhancements, no extra equipment, nothing. Just harder dungeons.

Actually, you are right and wrong. They did make changes to some dungeons AS WELL as make some new ones. There a few new monsters along with a few changes to the old ones. And there is a slight graphical enhancement (though very little since most of it is a port). As for equipment, I don't know..I'm just reporting to what I saw when my friend got it for free and played it for 5 hours straight trying to rub it in our face.

Yeah I know, I usually preorder from them but I didn't realize that the OOT/Master Quest deal was a universal thing; I just assumed it was Amazon exclusive.
But yeah, I got *cough*PokemonYellow*cough* 3 or 4 days early when that came out.

I saw the screenies for WW and was disapointed. It looks like a cartoon. Dont tell me its called something else because its a freekin cartoon. But never the less, screenies can be misleading so im gonna rent it when it comes out.

I too ordered from Amazon. Now I sit here waiting for those bastards to:
Put disc in box.
Put label on box.
Place box in mail.
I won't be seeing this disc for a week, methinks.
Oh well, at least I'll get some studying done for my midterms!
Yes, screenshots are misleading. The game looks flat and stupid in screenshots. If you can watch video (say from IGN.com) do so. Yes, it looks like a cartoon. But it's an "OH YES!" kinda feeling. Very fluid and beautiful.

No beer and no TV make Homer something something.
I refuse to buy this game. They turned Link into a friggen cartoon. When the GameCube First came out the had "screen shots" of how good the could make TLoZ on GameCube, and it was AWSOME. Then the guy goes and does this. said he wanted to try something different. I hate him for it.
Whenever, wherever, for whatever... I'll be there.
