Feh, a simple deathmatch would hardly seem Battle Royalesque.

Rant: Goddamnit I hate shaving sometimes. I just dulled an ENTIER RAZOR in one sitting of shaving my face and my head. The human head is NOT ment to be shaved it seems...
Also Rant: Cutting your head whilst shaving it, hurts like an almighty bitch. It hurts even more when you wash the cut and dry it.

StruckingFuggle: Keep in mind the island would be really big with lots of places to hide, making for plenty of hunting. Let's not forget the danger zones either

What about alliances and paranoia and angst?

[/quote]Well, it does use a system that's ideographic. Of course, that fell almost completely out of use after WWII, IIRC.

They can be random pick-ups like Mario Kart. The "alliance" pick-up reduces the damage nearby players do, the "paranoia" pick-up makes you hear things and reverses the channels and the "angst" pick-up makes you annoying and nobody likes you.

There's actually a quote from the back of the DVD that says "Like "Lord of the Flies" meets "Survivor" with guns", so there's your answerArc Orion wrote:Why does this movie make me think of reality television?

Rant: When trying to defend why their martial art or school fails to teach someone how to fight too many people go, "I'm learning martial arts for the spiritual side of it." Coincidentally, a lot of these come from the passive-aggressive types. Lemme point you to a nice little quote from someone who's had way more experience in MA than a lot of people.
You stupid McDojo artists are one of the reasons why a people are starting to think that MA's aren't effective in fighting, I'll be dammed if I'm going to let you shit on all that the accomplisments legitimate martial artists have worked so long on.Asia wrote:You life is shaped by the sum total of ALL your experiences. MA is one of those BUT that doesn't mean that MA is meant for more than fighting. Pple get that mixed up alot. Just because MA CAN, and will, have an effect on your life it doesn't mean that is what its purpose is. MA is simply a SKILL just like driving a car, cooking, building a website, etc. Unfortunately MA gets saddled with so much baggage that doesn't really belong. How would you feel if you joinde a driving school and had to hear pple harp about the SPIRITUAL side of driving a car?

Are you talking about "hanmun?" That is (basically) Chinese and was in use during ancient times before "hangul" was created.
Or are you talking about Japanese, which was forced onto Koreans during those 50-some years of occupation?

RAVE: mc chris SHOW TONIGHT. HUZZAH.
Rant: God damn my feet hurt. 10-6 working on my feet (rave: job! woo!). And now! And now I'm about to leave to go to a concert and stand up for the rest of the night. My soles are contemplating my murder. And it's a wicked and frightening world when you can't trust your feet. But if they rebel, screw it ... I'll do The Worm to the concert, if need be!
Aside: Mike: I'll post in SH when I get back tonight.

Struck quit your crying
. When you have to do it ten hours a day, six days a week, ON A CONCRETE FLOOR, wearing workboots, then you have the right to complain.
