Wind Waker looked awesome when you were actually playing it, it just didn't feel like Ocarina. It did feel like the GB Zelda games.

But about these new screenshots... soooooooooooooooo shiny.

If this game turns out to be half as good as it looks, I'll have faith in the gaming industry again.

Nintendo rarely lets us down, Blizzard still has a good track record, and Id has yet to make me cry. Now for the rest well...

am I the only one not surprised at all at how this looks? If you all had been paying attention during the months leading up to the Wind Waker, everyone was comparing it to Zelda 2, another kind of experimantal Zelda. For those of you who do not know, Zelda 2 was for the most part played out in a sidescrolling format. while there was an overworld much like that of a final fantasy game, whenever you got into a fight, you switched to sidescrolling. It was still an exellent game, but it was just different.

In the same way, when the Wind Waker was first shown at Spaceworld, people were shocked at how it looked. I must admit, I was also somewhat repulsed. however, as the game's development continued and more was released about it, it became clear that this game would turn out well. On top of that, even Myamoto said that it was a one time thing, and the next one would be more dark and similar to Majora's Mask.

Besides, Nintendo has less than half a dozen exclusive franchises. It would be suicide to release Zelda on anyone elses console.

This is the first time I've seen these, and they are quite pretty, (*drools on keyboard*) none of us should be surprised at all at the "new" look.

As well as I. Fuck Final Fantasy. Give us some sequels to Einhander, or Vagrant Story instead.

FF:CC kinda sucked, but FFTA was pretty damn good.
Disgaea > FFTA, though.

Square Enix isn't dead, no matter what anyone says, dammit.
