This game has inspired people I know to buy Game Cubes. This could probably turn the tide of the console war.

/me has the sudden urge to go buy Wind Waker

I played it, I enjoyed it, but I never did buy it...

How old is Wind Waker? It's still $50 and $46 used. What the hell?
unsigged. For the children.

/me faints
Anouther Zelda!!! :D I heard that there was gonna be an "expansion" to the Wind Waker, using the same engine. I'm all for WW's cell shading (because it's very well done), but I dislike the character designs, Link looks permentually chibied :P. If thay made a Zelda game that looked like the drawings in the OoT manual, I'd be very happy indeed. But this looks just great, I'm getting the feeling that Nintendo is just doing this because of the amount of whining that went on about WW. Now THIS is an awesome screenie :

Screw using the bow, swords are so much cooler on horseback! This new feature pleases FireAza.

finally! use the sword on horseback.

But, looks like the enemy now gets a mount as well.

I'm just concerned by the menu system and button layout.

Now all Nintendo needs to do now is anounce that it will be Online playable, but it will not happen.

Wow, I actually moaned when I saw the graphics, and I usually don't get worked up over games.

Calus, uhhh... How would Zelda play online? :|
SuperTylor, personally, I was shaking with my jaw hitting the floor. Not just over graphics, but that fact that a brand spankin' new Zelda game came out of nowhere.

As a multiplayer mode or in single player?

I know this may sound bad but, I'd like to see a zelda game that wasn't linear.

You go to a level solve puzzles, fight monsters, get the levels item and then you fight the boss using that item.

I think they should make the games where you have to go out of your way to find the "Proper" item to destroy the boss, but it still be doable with just the sword and sheild( an underused tool ) Or make some things not obvious like the first dungeon be the last dungeon but with way harder monsters.

That might be a cool idea for an offshoot of the Zelda series, but just woulden't work for the normal Zelda. Zelda is popular because it's formula works, and has hardly changed. But your post has made me think of something. Is the new Zelda going to be harder? That's always been my annoyance with Zelda.
