Stupid Human Tricks

Post by iMav » Sat May 22, 2004 3:43 am

The Key (For the attention impaired, like myself.):

Stuff you should read to get the gist of things
Excess stuff I added to give a sense of context

I'm usually reluctant to start new threads, because I think rather lowly of most of the people who do, but the alternative right now is really boring homework, and I can't focus at all.

I'll preface this post with a story:

I was sitting in my Social Studies class yesterday morning, and it was rather noisy, as usual. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, the entire classroom went silent for about five minutes. Entirely out of habit, I made that "water droplet" sound, where you flick your cheek and whistle (Like Cameron did in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Everyone looked up, and were all quite amazed, as none of them could make that particular sound. Following that, the class departed from our examination of World War II, and spent the remaining forty minutes swapping tales of our useless, but amusing abilities.

The purpose of this thread is for you to share your "special" abilities. Perhaps tell a story about a funny circumstance under which you discovered/used each skill. Include pictures and/or sound effects as appropriate/possible.

My Stupid Human Tricks include:

Whistling without my lips.
Whistling without my lips or teeth.
I can get both my legs behind my head at once.
I can walk on my hands for an obscenely long time.
I can do the water droplet.

...Probably more.

Let's hear yours!
