"...at the end"? Pfah, that show was crap from the beginning. Whoever came up with "Blatant Sexpot Vulcan" needs to be shot in the head... as well as whomever said "Let's just pick and choose our continuity and hope nobody gives a crap, even though we're trying to sell to an established audience".
Oh, and lets not forget Hoshi's "Jeffries Tube Crawl'n'Fall", or just about any Decon scene.
When it all comes down to the nitty-gritty, each series/movie has gotten progressively worse, and it would be wise of Berman and Piller to let Trek rest, if only for a few years. It's the humane thing to do... both for the series, and for the fans.

Oh. So it went from cliche star trek plot, to sci-fi cliche, to a concept that's been done way too often?
I would stop watching star trek for this, but I don't watch much anyway. It IS good to laugh at from time to time, though.
(Their grasp of tactics is poor.)

I wish people would stop trying to alter history by traveling back in time. By definition, if they're trying to change it, it's alread 'locked in', so to speak, and nothing they do will have any effect on their future.
Well, except for that first Ep. in Teen Titans season two. That was just confusing.

Ok guys, settle down, for starters... it's not using the "Star Trek Continum" that we all know and love. We saw this from episode #1 when humans made first contact with Klingons. (Also it says that Enterprise is based on Star Trek).
I think this "temproral crap" is actually a pretty good plotline. It was slow at first, but the last 4 episodes really summed it up well.
As for the slap-in-your-face ending, cudos to the producers on that one, cause I can't WAIT to see the next episode, because you know that it's going to be a traditional Voyager season ender-opener (Equinox, Season 2 with the Borg, etc. etc.)

Thing is, GG, I would have come back next season anyway. This season, while EXTREMELY well done, built to a climax. I was really hoping for some resolution so that I could get on with my life. Instead, I'm left with a cliffhanger, and I have to wait until NEXT SEASON to find out what happens. That friggen sucks. I hate cliffhanger season endings. Especially when this entire season has been one long continuum. I actually hated last season's ending, because they left that off with the ship going into the expanse, and we were left hanging. But at least last season only built up to it with the one episode. Eh, i dunno. I'll be back, of course. I loves me my Enterprise.

Hehe, yea, as do I. It actually turned out a LOT better than I anticipated before it's debut. I was REALLY looking forward to a futuristic Star Trek (28th Century, etc.) something that we've seen bits and pieces of but haven't got a full understanding of it yet.
I agree with you though, Greg. Cliffhangers SUCK, but for the people who didn't like the first season because of Enterprise's "grapling hook" instead of a tractor beam, etc. etc., they started to like this season because it started moving somewhere and the cliffhanger will reel them in for next season.
Producers don't care about their loyal fans because that's what they are - loyal. If you make a crappy episode or season, they'll still be there when the next episode goes to air. Meanwhile the other casual Enterprise watchers or channel surfers need to be snagged for next season somehow, and cliffhangers are a good solution... most of the time.
