A New Perspective of Space

Post by ZinRemsoh » Thu Mar 20, 2003 12:46 am

A friend of mine sent me a screenshot of his desktop. As soon as I opened the link, my jaw dropped to the floor as I laid my eyes upon the magnificent background. I asked him where he got it and he directed me to this site: The Art of Greg Martin

You'll need to click on "The Vault" to get to them. These backgrounds are truly amazing. Now every computer at my high school that I come across has one of these backgrounds. Enjoy.

Sola, he gives you the username and password in a brief description before you get to enter the gallery (i think) but try this:

username: guest
password: access

Wow... Just wow. I downloaded abotu 6 or 7 for use as desktops. They are indeed beautiful. Even the ones that I didn't download as desktops are easily better than the desktops that I have used in the past. I'm currently using "Glacial Inferno" as my background. So pretty.

Thank you very much for the linkage Zin.

Your welcome! Oh, and I'm using "Behold The Light", but I also used "Ultimate End" before.

Does he not know that you can still direct link simply by including the user and password in the url? I even tested it, and there is no referer-based protection. For example:

http://guest:access@students.washington ... rm_800.jpg

Maybe he is just hoping that not many people will know how to do it?

I actually got a bunch of them from my roommate a few months ago...

They are very nice. Even got a few more to add to the ones I had.

What programs do you use?
I am an avid fan of Adobe Photoshop 7.0, as it is the main program (often the only one) that I use to create my artwork. I also dabble in Corel Photopaint 8, but that's slowly becoming a wee bit too old to compete in any sense with Adobe PS.
I honestly do not believe he uses only photo shop to make those images.
