Suggestion for a future hack

Suggestion for a future hack

I searched and could not find. So I thought I'd post a little idea I had that seems like it should be fairly simple to implement.

When clicking the quote button for a message, all quoted [img] tags should be replaced wholesale for a [url] tags. That's all I ever do in a reply and if someone does need to quote the image they can always change them back again before submitting

In a small attempt to be useful I figured out the regexps needed (but they arn't even slightly complex)
Match string: (\[/?)img\]
Replace string: \1url]

This might be pretty simple to implement, actually... When the SQL query grabs the message text, it can run this on it to replace the aforementioned tags. I shall look into it shortly. It could be VERY useful in things like LAMEISP.

Negatory. I put all of 5 minutes into trying it while simunltaneously being on 4 hours of sleep about a week ago. I then promptly forgot about it until now.
