"Oh, Hey. Surprise." (6/7/04)

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Mine is in a designated slot made prolly for the VCR in the entertainment center.
NOTHING goes in that spot but my XBOX. Which, by the way, also makes quite a good DVD player.

I would be afraid to put the XBOX on top of the TV, too. It should be kept in a contianer to avoid the leaking blak majiks.
My sig would have contained the secret of life, but I'd already clicked submit.

A friend of mine keeps it a few feet away from the TV, clustered with his gamecube and PS2.
Opposite his air con unit, and next to his 2 gaming PCs and his mini-fridge.
In a room with about 10' square floorspace, and a bed taking up most of the rest.

I've got mine in a little hole underneath my monitor, and above my monitor is my TV. It's like a pillar of computerisation.

I keep mine in my custom made desk. Has a bunch of draws that pull out. PSX, N64, SNES, and Dreamcast. Don't have a PS2 or XBox. Need local friends that would come over and play games with me.

This was just great. And for the record, my consoles are under this table thingy which the TV is on.

(Muttering to self: Dang, I hoped someone would use the same style of topic title like my ones, to make it organized. Oh well. :P)

Mainly I disconnect and put in a drawer my systems each time I stop playing them. I leave the one with the games I'm currently playing plugged and on top or on the side of my tv. Currently got Snes, GC and N64 plugged in. VCR Has two audio/video output wich I use to connect the systems.

THen there's my Xbox that I didn't switch yet who's plugged in except for the audio/video cable that I plug if I need to play.

I need a new tv who'd have audio/video output. With the VCR that would make 4 and from my calculations I could plug in 7 out of my 8 systems (damn you PS2, I still don't have you.)

Controllers wires are turned around the system or squeezed in the drawer so that it's not blocking the view.
Meh !

At home, I keep all my consoles in a big wooden shelving thingy. I've got my N64 and SNES hooked up right now, what with the PS2 in storage at university somewhere.

But when I get back to the dorm... Last year, I had my desk in a corner, with my PS2 right at the edge, the TV in the corner, and my flatscreen monitor next to it. I was in heaven until I went abroad (but I went to NZ, so it was more a case of trading one state of bliss for another). I'm getting a gamecube this summer, so I guess I'll be getting a new setup situation.

Meh. I don't think I could show more concern or emotion though.

In any case, my post was more of a joke than anything else.

We used to use an entertainment center... before we got our jumbo big screen tv that's almost the size of our old entertainment center. :)

So now I just kinda tuck the console (only one at a time) next to the tv and pull it out when playing. If not in use, i wrap everything up and keep each system in its own drawer in my room. I'm a neat freak, what can I say? :)
