Arrrrr!! Thar' be relief! [June 08]

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Is it just me, or does the pirate in the upper right corner look a lot like Greg? :P

It's just you.

The title should have been just simply PP :)

Puzzle Pirates = how many different ways can you play Tetris/Bejeweled/Clicks

After the first 2 variations, I no longer call it puzzles.

As for Eeewww... It could have been worse. It could have been the spiced rum "puzzle". (That's the one where you're trying to fill up something and add chunks of stuff to it as well.)

What I thought it meant is that he has to think of playing the Bilge Pump game from PP while peeing in order to relieve himself. (It's a bejeweled clone where clearing items lowers the water level.)

I never really thought about what I think about while going to the bathroom. Then again, that's just TMI even for myself.

I thought it was the fact that the game involved water made Greg want to pee
Like thinking of Niagra falls, or Lake Michigan, or a tap...dripping....dripping....dripping...
Um, excuse me for a sec...

*sigh*

The Bilge pumps remove water from a ship's hull. Essentially, a ship takes on water over time, and a bilge pump gets it out. Much like a bladder fills over time, and one has to empty it out. Thus, the paralell between bilge pumping and relieving oneself. There. You done gone went and made me explain it.

I don't see the parallel. When a boat takes on water, the water must be forced out. Do you have to "squeeze" to pee? I just... well... relax.

I thought Dave carried on playing the game when Greg left the room. When Greg came back he wasn't very impressed so Dave came up with some excuses. Also Greg didn't like the game.

I think you guys spend too much time thinking about going to the toilet.
